Download - UniCluster 4.1

Unicluster 4.1 is available for: Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.X, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.x and CentOS 5.X.

NOTE: You need to register at grid.org before downloading UniCluster 4.1. Registration is simple and free. Once you register you can download UniCluster 4.1.

During Installation of UniCluster 4.1 the installer script will ask you to insert CDs or a DVD for the operating system. You must have access to an ISO or Download CDs/DVDs for the chosen Linux. Choose one of the OS links when Creating a new Installer Node.

Hardware Installation requirements

1. One x86_64 machine with at least 1Gb of physical ram and a minimum of 30 Gb free disk space for the installer node. (the cluster management node)

2. One or more machine(s) with at least 512Mb of physical ram and a minimum of 35Gb free disk space for compute nodes in the cluster.

Software Configuration requirements

UniCluster 4.1 requires a single x86_64 management node for the cluster called an Installer Node. The Installer node must have at least one ethernet network interface to create a cluster, however two ethernet network interfaces are strongly recommended. With a two network configuration one network interface is the public interface connected to the internet or intranet and the other network interface is used to create a private cluster network for all of the compute nodes.

Installing the base components of UniCluster is easy it will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete the installation. To begin follow the Creating an new installer node Link.
