I just wanted to point out all the different ways you can receive content from grid.org!
We have set it up so that you can get RSS feeds off of any topic or tag. Groups also have a speciailized feed. So if you would like to treat a group like a mailing list you can. You can also "subscribe" to a post, a comment or a person as well and get updates on post or even changes. Since this site is done in Drupal it has true content management including versioning.
If you have any questions, just ask that's what we are here for!
Hello new bloggers and group managers!
I'd like to share with you to some dandy advice from a friend of mine...
I am creating some content in my group and was wondering what the differences are btn the different kinds of content?
The way I look at Content Types is this:
Pages are static content that you almost never change since they get their own URL and people will link to them and such.
Stories are actually NEWS stories and showup in the news feed. So this is information that does eventually become stale.
This is the place to talk to me - Silona about grid.org and groups.grid.org about things you like and don't like and to ask any questions you might have!
